I have been in the graphics industry for 35 years as a designer, illustrator and pre-press technician. Having an understanding of pre-press requirements has aided me in knowing precisely what is required for pdf workflows.
My files are without error. Attention is paid consistantly to the issues of bleed, image safety, resolution, overprints and knockouts, d-max and press gain and , optimised color placement and embedded text and images. All pdf's submitted are pre-flighted with Pitstop 7 and are guaranteed to pass 'error free'.
My experience in pre-press has made me keenly aware of the importance of schedules
My experience with presses has given me the insight as to what to expect and how to attain it.
As a designer, I bring the advantage of being able to communicate with both pre-press and the press in an experienced and knowledgeable, professional manner.

I am a good conceptualist and have a firm grasp of color theory. My designs are innovative and appropriate and range from the 'trendy' to 'corporate'.
